Penne with Shrimp and Frescobene Vodka Sauce

 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. shrimp (16-20 size cleaned and deveined)
  • 1 lb. penne pasta
  • 1-20 oz. pouch Frescobene Vodka sauce
  • Salt and pepper (if using)

 

Preparation:

  • Place Vodka pouch in pot of boiling water and prepare according to package
  • Remove pouch from boiling water (with tongs) and add pasta to the pot
  • Cook pasta according to box, making sure to add shrimp directly to the pot the last 3 minutes of cooking the pasta
  • Drain pasta and shrimp and pour into large pasta bowl
  • Cut corner of pouch and add sauce to pasta and shrimp
  • Toss and serve

Enjoy with tossed salad and bread.
